Abstract:Breast cancer is one of the malignant tumors threatening to female health. The patient-centered multidisciplinary team (MDT) that gathers multidisciplinary experts to work together and formulates individualized treatments is the best management model for tumor diagnosis and treatment. MDT plays an important role in accurate diagnosis of breast cancer, decision-making, follow-up management, and research on new technologies. However, this model is still an exploratory stage in China and needs to be further improved. An efficient MDT team can not only help improve medical staff, but also improve patients′ survival rate and quality of life.
