Effect of perioperative nursing intervention correction in congenital muscular torticollis surgery

Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of perioperative nursing intervention correction in children with congenital muscular torticollis underwent surgery. Methods From January 2014 to January 2016, 75 children with congenital muscular torticollis treated by surgery at Maternal & Child Health Care Hospital of Qinhuangdao were selected as the research object and divided into experiment group (38 cases) and control group (37 cases) according to lottery. The children in the control group were treated by routine nursing, and the children in the experiment group were treated by perioperative nursing intervention. The clinical effect, nursing satisfaction and incidence of side effect of the two groups were compared. Results The clinical effect of the experiment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The satisfaction degree of the family members of the experiment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The incidence of side effect in the experiment group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion Perioperative nursing intervention surgical has significantly effect in correction of congenital muscular torticollis, and which can improve the nursing satisfaction, and reduce the incidence of side effect after operation. It is worthy of clinical application
