Abstract：The academic thoughts of chief physician Geng Lianqi, a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor in Binhai New Area of Tianjin, are mainly as follows: "Yang-qi is the first, Yin blood is the foundation; according to the situation, the evil of Yin is eliminated; five sides are balanced, six parts are unobstructed; Yin and Yang are constipated, Qi and Blood are harmonious". This paper takes explaining the academic thought as the core, discusses from the Yin-Yang theory, the Five Elements theory and the theory of correspondence between heaven and man, reinterprets the academic thought of chief physician Geng Lianqi, who originated from the classical medical books, into the classical works of traditional Chinese medicine, and puts forward the importance of differentiating Yang-qi first in treating diseases, and regards supporting Yang-qi as the first choice for treating diseases, and combining the viscera syndrome differentiation and meridian syndrome differentiation organically, and the treatment methods are finally unified into the unification of Qi and Blood, Yin and Yang, the outside and the inside, and finally reach the state of neutralization.
