Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Xiaojin Capsules combined with Triptorelin on postoperative recurrence of endometriosis. Methods From March 2016 to July 2017, 94 patients with endometriosis admitted to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Tangshan People′s Hospital in Hebei Province were selected as subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and combined group, with 47 cases in each group. All patients were treated with laparoscopic resection. The control group was given Triptorelin. The combined group was treated with Xiaojin Capsules on the basis of the control group. Visual analog scale (VAS) was used to assess the degree of dysmenorrhea in two groups of patients. Menopausal symptoms were assessed in two groups using the Kapperman rating scale. The levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor-1 (TIMP-1) were measured before and after treatment in both groups. After 1 year of follow-up, the recurrence of the two groups was recorded. Results The total effective rate of combined group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, VAS decreased, uterine volume decreased and Kupperman score increased in both groups (P < 0.05). After treatment, the VAS and Kupperman scores of combined group were lower than those of control group, and the uterine volume was smaller than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant, the levels of VEGF, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in both groups were lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of VEGF, MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in combined group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05). Following up for 1 year, the recurrence rate of combined group was lower than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Xiaojin Capsules combined with Triprin can reduce the recurrence of endometriosis after operation.
