Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of the intervention of aerobic exercise and pulmonary rehabilitation training combined with inhalation of Seretide and Tiotropium Bromide for the pulmonary function, exercise tolerance and quality of life in patients with moderate-severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods One hundred and forty-seven patients with moderate-severe COPD admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Medical University from July 2013 to July 2015 were selected and randomly divided into experimental group 1, experimental group 2 and control group, with 49 cases in each group. The control group was given drug therapy, the experimental group 1 was given aerobic exercise intervention, the experimental group 2 was given the aerobic exercise combined with pulmonary rehabilitation training and drug intervention. After intervention for 8 weeks, the changes of pulmonary function, exercise tolerance and quality of life among the three groups were observed. Results The vital capacity, forced vital capacity, maximal voluntary ventilation in the experimental group 2 were better than those of control group and experimental group 1, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the contents of secretary immunoglobulin A, noradrenaline in the experimental group 2 were all lower than those of control group and experimental group 1, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the 6 min walking test in the experimental group 2 was higher than that of control group and experimental group 1, the score of quality of life was higher than that of control group and experimental group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Intervention of comprehensive aerobic exercise and pulmonary rehabilitation training combined with inhalation of Seretide and Tiotropium Bromide for patients with moderate-severe COPD can improve the pulmonary function, exercise tolerance and quality of life, which is worthy of promotion and application.
