Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of hyperthermia combined with Aescinate Sodium for Injection in the treatment of pneumonia-like pleural effusion. Methods A total of 120 patients with pneumonic pleural effusion admitted to Baoding Second Central Hospital of Hebei Province from July 2016 to July 2018 were selected. The patients were divided into control group (60 cases) and research group (60 cases) by random number table method. The control group was treated with Sodium Aescinate for Injection, and the research group was combined with deep hyperthermia on the basis of the treatment in the control group. Both groups were given 2 courses of treatment, and 5 days was one course of treatment. The clinical effects, absorption time of pleural effusion, antipyretic time and hospitalization time in two groups were evaluated and compared. Pulmonary function indexes, including forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1) were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The absorption time of pleural effusion, antipyretic time and hospitalization time in the research group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). After treatment, FVC and FEV1 were significantly increased in the two groups compared with those before treatment, and the increase degree in the study group was greater than that in the control group (P < 0.05). During the treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Hyperthermia combined with Aescinate Sodium for Injection has obvious therapeutic effect on pneumonia-like pleural effusion, and can shorten the treatment time, with good safety.
