Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of acupotomology combined with Lianli Wumei Decoction enema in the treatment of ulcerative colitis. Methods From May 2013 to November 2016, 136 patients with ulcerative colitis were selected from the Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into treatment group and control group, 68 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with Lianli Wumei Decoction enema combined with acupotomy, and the control group was given Mesalazine orally. After 4 weeks of continuous treatment, the clinical effects of the two groups were compared, and the changes of colonoscopy scores before and after treatment in the two groups were recorded. Meanwhile, the patients who got better and recovered were followed up for recurrence. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 89.70%, and that of the control group was 74.99%, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in colonoscopy scores between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, the colonoscopy scores of patients in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The recurrence rate of patients in the two groups was significantly higher than that in the treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). Conclusion Acupotomology combined with lianyumei decoction enema for the treatment of ulcerative colitis is simple and widely used, with no obvious adverse reactions and side effects, better effect and lower recurrence rate, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
