Abstract:The clinical symptoms of peripheral neuritis mainly are symmetrical dyskinesia and abnormity of sense at the extremities, and autonomic nervous dysfunction. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is classified as "blood-arthralgia". By combining the theory of scholars of the past with our own experience, we think that the pathogenesises of the disease are mainly "deficiency" "pathogenic factors" and "blood-stasis". In addition, the occurrence of the disease caused by emotional factors is due to the disorder of Qi activities and visceral functions, which leads to the deficiency of healthy Qi, invasion of pathogenic factor and endogenesis of blood stasis. This article analyzes the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease comprehensively and reports a medical case of this disease treated from emotional factors, which providing a new idea for treating peripheral neuritis in TCM.
