Abstract:Objective To explore the prevention and control countermeasures on nosocomial infection in general hospital, to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection. Methods A total of 228 patients from October, 2016 to June, 2018 who were hospitalized in a general hospital nursing home were selected for statistical analysis of the patient′s age, basic diseases, length of stay, antibiotic medication, etc, and the risk points of infection prevention and control were found to explore the prevention and control methods and countermeasures of hospital infection. Results The points of infection prevention and control risk for inpatients were as following: most of them were elderly patients; long hospital stay and high frequency; severe and complex condition; there were many basic diseases in inpatients; antimicrobial drug use and invasive procedures increase the risk of infection; the proportion of unprofessional nurses was higher. Conclusion In view of the risks above, the following countermeasures are proposed: strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration; standardize the operation of diagnosis and treatment, reduce the invasive operation; strengthen environmental cleaning and disinfection isolation; standardize the nursing management; give full play to the role of part-time quality control; training, supervision and exercise should be strengthened to gradually prevent and control the risk factors of hospital infection and finally reduce the incidence of hospital infection.
