Abstract:Objectiv To make the qualitative research on effective teaching behavior of the clinical instructors for postgraduate students of clinical medicine professional degree. Methods A total of 100 rotating postgraduate students with clinical medicine science (including the various majors of 2015~2018 internal medicine) underwent the standardized training from January 2017 to March 2018 in Department of Endocrinology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University were selected. They were divided into two groups according to their student number, namely control group (n = 50)and experimental group (n = 50). The control group was taught by traditional clinical rotation method, while the experimental group was taught by clinical pathway (CP) method for 2 months. The application effect of the two methods was evaluated. Results The comprehensive scores of theoretical examination and skill operation in the test group were significantly higher than control group (P < 0.05); the student′s satisfaction on the teacher′s trust relationship, knowledge instruction, assistance behaviors as failed, professional ethics teaching, experiencing opportunity, academic exploration, professional skills, smooth exchanges, thoughtful medical behaviors and favorable working attitudes in the test group were significantly higher than control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The CP teaching method for postgraduates of clinical medicine professional degree by clinical instructors can improve the students′ concept of standardized treatment of diseases, and enhance the systematicness and scientificity of teaching.
