Abstract：As a traditional clinical diagnosis and treatment method in China, acupuncture and moxibustion has been increasing and expanding in modern clinical application and mechanism research. A lot of research results have already attracted worldwide attention. This paper will review from the following aspects: the application status of functional magnetic resonance imaging in the study of acupuncture central mechanism, the treatment progress of acupuncture and moxibustion in stroke, uroclepsia, infertility and glaucoma, and the acupuncture anesthesia, hoping that acupuncture and moxibustion can be used more scientifically and rationally.
