Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of multi-channel characteristic nursing program of traditional Chinese medicine on the recovery of gastrointestinal function and bladder function in patients with cervical cancer after radical operation. Methods From January 2016 to March 2017, 86 patients with cervical cancer who underwent radical resection in Huangjiahu Hospital, Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and they were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method with 43 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given conventional basic nursing, while the observation group was given traditional Chinese medicine multi-channel nursing plan. The gastrointestinal function was observed and recorded at the first day after operation, and the bladder function recovery was compared between the two groups. Results The first defecation time, anal exhaust time and bowel sounds recovery time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The recovery of bladder function in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group, the incidence of urinary retention and catheterization was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the rate of self-relieving urination was relatively higher in the observation group; residual urine volume decreased significantly after extubation in the observation group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The multi-channel characteristic nursing scheme of TCM can obviously improve the gastrointestinal dysfunction and promote the recovery of bladder function in patients with cervical cancer after operation, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
