Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic (ALA-PDT) combined with imiquimod in the treatment of perianal condyloma acuminatum. Methods The clinical data of 146 patients with HIV/AIDS and perianal condyloma acuminata treated in Beijing You′an Hospital from February 2016 to October 2017 were analyzed. According to different treatments, they were divided into observation group and control group, 82 patients in the observation group were treated with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) combined with Imiquimod treatment, 64 patients in the control group were treated with ALA-PDT combined with laser, and the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction rate between the two groups were compared. Results After 6 months of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of patients with pain discomfort and local erosion in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion ALA-PDT combined with imiquimod has significant curative effect and low adverse reaction rate in the treatment of perianal condyloma acuminatum. It is worth further promotion in clinical practice.
