Abstract:Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Eucalyptus Enteric Soft Capsules combined with low dose Roxithromycin in treatment of stable bronchiectasis. Methods From January 2015 to June 2017, in Shenyang Military Region General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, 93 patients with stable bronchiectasis were selected, they were divided into control group (46 cases) and the treatment group (47 cases) by random number table method. The control group was treated with low dose Roxithromycin, the treatment group was treated with Eucalyptus Enteric Soft Capsules combined with low dose Roxithromycin, the two groups were treated for 6 months. The clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared, the chest CT scores, mMRC scores, life quality scores, acute episodes within 6 months, acute phase of sputum within 24 h, FEV1 and FEV1/FVC of the two groups before and after treatment were compared. The adverse reactions rates of the two groups during the treatment were compared. Results The total efficacy rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the chest CT scores, mMRC scores, life quality scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and these of the treatment group were lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, acute episodes within 6 months and acute phase of sputum within 24 h of the two groups were significantly less than before treatment, and these of the treatment group were less than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the FEV1 and FEV1/FVC of the two groups were significantly more than before treatment, and these of the treatment group were more than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). During treatment, the adverse reaction rate of the treatment group was less than the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion Eucalyptus Enteric Soft Capsules combined with low dose Roxithromycin in treatment of stable bronchiectasis has a good efficacy and low adverse reactions, it can improve the respiratory function and life quality, reduce the acute episodes and sputum volume, and it is worthy clinical application.
