Abstract:Objective To analyze the expression and significance of P37, P16 and PAX-2 in endometrial hyperplasia. Methods From December 2012 to August 2017, in Qinhuangdao Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the pathological tissue specimens of patients with endometrial hyperplasia diagnosed by pathological biopsy were selected, including 31 specimens of simple and complicated endometrial hyperplasia and 30 specimens of atypical endometrial hyperplasia; 30 normal endometrium specimens were selected as controls. The positive expression rates of P37, P16 and PAX-2 protein in different tissue specimens were detected by immunohistochemical SP method. Results There was no positive expression of P37 protein in normal endometrium tissues, the positive expression rate in atypical hyperplasia was higher than simple or complex hyperplasia, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The positive expression of P16 protein showed atypical dysplasia tissue < simple or complex hyperplasia < normal endometrium tissue, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01), while the positive expression of PAX-2 protein showed atypical dysplasia < simple or complex hyperplasia < normal endometrium tissue, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). Conclusion There exists abnormal expression of P37, P16 and PAX-2 in atypical endometrial hyperplasia, which is worthy of further study.
