Research progress on the mechanism of intestinal mucosal barrier injury in acute pancreatitis

Abstract:Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a common clinical disease. Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and systemic inflammatory response synthesis are its secondary diseases, which are also common causes of high AP mortality. AP can lead to intestinal mucosal barrier damage, resulting in bacterial translocation, which can lead to endotoxemia and secondary infection of pancreatic tissue. Microcirculation disturbance, excessive release of inflammatory mediators, ischemia-reperfusion injury and intestinal epithelial cell apoptosis secondary to AP also play an important role in intestinal mucosal barrier injury. Clinical study of AP intestinal mucosal barrier damage is of great significance.
