Abstract：With the rapid development of the aging population in China, the phenomenon of rural elderly people to follow their children to the city is becoming more and more common, but the rural elderly as a new type of new edge of the vulnerable groups, poor adaptability, facing various challenges in the process of integration into urban life, physical and mental health is also facing a huge threat. However, the research on the elderly in China started late. Therefore, this paper combs out the health status of the rural elderly in three aspects of physiology, psychology and society, and summarizes the influencing factors of their health from the three aspects of family support, social support and other aspects. The aim is to arouse people′s attention to the physical and mental health of the disadvantaged group, to guide the family, community and society to give them more support and protection of their emotions and policies, and to provide a reference and guidance for improving the health status of the elderly in the rural areas and promoting their better and faster integration into the urban life.
