Abstract:Objective To analyze clinical effects, maternal and infant outcomes and adverse events of magnesium sulfate and Nifedipine on premature delivery. Methods Clinical data of 98 preterm pregnant women from March 2017 to February 2016 in the First People′s Hospital of Yibin City in Sichuan Province were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into two groups according to the treatment scheme, 49 patients treated with Nifedipine were set up as the study group, 49 patients treated with Magnesium Sulfate were set up as the control group. The clinical curative effect, the maternal and infant outcome and the adverse reaction of the two groups were compared. Results In the study group, the proportion of pregnant women whose duration of gestational age longer than 7 d, gestational age longer than 2 d, and the success rate of fetus preservation were higher than those of control group, and the effective time was shorter than that of the control group, the total incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no statistically difference in newborn weight, Apgar score, pregnancy week, and the time of uterine contraction after the first drug use between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Treatment with Nifedipine for preterm pregnant women can improve the success rate of pregnancy preservation and prolong the gestational weeks, and the incidence of adverse reactions of drug is low, with a certain clinical application and research value.
