Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of Yupingfeng San and Siwu Decoction on Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae, Enterobacter, Streptococcus, Neisseria and Lactobacillus in rats with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), in order to provide experimental basis for Yupingfeng San and Siwu Decoction in the treatment of COPD. Methods Fifty SPF male wistar rats were divided into 5 groups, incliding normal group, model group, Yupingfeng San and Siwu Decoction high dose, middle dose and low dose groups, with 10 cases in each group. The COPD rat model was established by intratracheal instillation of lipopolysaccharide plus smoked methods. After molding, the rats in the dose groups were given to different concentrations of Yupingfeng San and Siwu Decoction by gavage, while the rats in the normal group and model group were fed with sterile distilled water, once time a day for 30 days. All the lung tissues of rats were collected, to for high-throughput sequencing of various bacteria, and the left lung tissue was used to make pathological sections. Results ①Compared with the normal group, the content of Lactobacillus in the model group was significantly decreased, and the contents of the other six bacteria were significantly increased, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05).②Compared with model group, the contents of Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the Yupingfeng San and Siwu Decoction high, middle and low dose groups were significantly reduced, the contents of Haemophilus influenzae, Enterobacter, Streptococcus, Neisseria in the high dose group were significantly reduced, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05), but there was no significant difference between the middle and low dose groups (P > 0.05).③The contents of Lactobacillus in the Yupingfeng San and Siwu Decoction low and middle dose groups was significantly increased, compared with model group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05), there was no significant difference between high dose group and model group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The contents of Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae, Enterobacter, Streptococcus and Neisseria can be significantly reduced in rats with COPD by Yupingfeng San and Siwu Decoction, the content of Lactobacillus increasing, which may be one of the important mechanisms for the treatment of COPD .
