Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect and prognosis of miniature thyroid cancer surgery in the treatment of micro-thyroid carcinoma in early and middle stage. Methods From May 2015 to May 2016, 108 patients with micro-thyroid carcinoma in early and middle stage revealed papillary thyroid carcinoma by biopsy were selected. According to the treatment methods, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 54 cases in each group. The observation group was treated by surgical treatment, and the control group was treated by chemotherapy treatment. All patients were followed up for 1 year. The curative effects of the two groups were compared, and the quality of life were followed up. Results The total efficiency of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The quality of life scores of observation group were significantly improved after treatment than those of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After 1 year of follow-up, the rates of central recurrence, the lateral neck metastasis and none radiographic evidence of increased TG of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion The effect of surgical treatment on micro-thyroid carcinoma in early and middle stage is significant, and the improvement of quality of life is better than that of chemotherapy.
