Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of collaborative cognitive behavioral nursing in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Methods A total of 120 patients with CKD treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from May 2015 to May 2017 were collected and divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with collaborative cognitive behavioral nursing and the control group was treated with conventional care. Renal function index, self-care ability and compliance before and after interlention were compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention, self-care ability containing self-care skill, self-concept, self-responsibility, health knowledge level of the two groups had no significant difference (P > 0.05); after intervention, self-responsibility and health knowledge level were improved compared to those before intervention in the control group (P < 0.05), self-concept, self-responsibility, health knowledge level in the observation group were improved compared with those before intervention (P < 0.05); after intervention, scores of self-care skill and self-responsibility in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Before intervention, there was no significant difference in the renal function between the two groups (P > 0.05), while after intervention, the two groups′ renal function improved compared with those before intervention (P < 0.05), and urea nitrogen (BUN), 24 h urine protein and serum creatinine (Scr) in obseroation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The total compliance rate in the observation group was 96.0%, significantly higher than that in the control group (66.0%) (P < 0.05). Conclusion Collaborative cognitive behavioral nursing is helpful to improve the renal function of patients with CKD, which improves their nursing ability and the compliance, and it is suggested to be promoted promotion in clinic.
