Abstract:Objective To explore the nursing effect of Chinese traditional medicine acupoint sticking on children with recurrent respiratory tract infection. Methods From November 2015 to December 2016, in General Hospital of Benxi Steel Group Corporation, 110 children with recurrent respiratory tract infection were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random digital table method, with 55 cases in each group. The two groups were treated with routine nursing care. On the basis of this, the children in the observation group were treated with acupoint sticking and comprehensive nursing intervention. The clinical efficacy, disappearance time of symptoms and signs, the number of repeated infection in 1 year and the nursing satisfaction of parents in two groups were observed. Results The effective rate of children in the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); the time of disappearance of clinical symptoms, the number of repeated infection in 1 year in the observation group were less than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the nursing satisfaction rate of parents in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking combined with comprehensive nursing measures can improve the clinical effect of recurrent respiratory infection in children, reduce the number of recurrent infection, improve the nursing satisfaction of the parents, it is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
