Study on the medication rules of facial mask prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for acne based on association rules

Abstract:Objective To analyze the medication rules of facial mask prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for acne. Methods The Chinese medicine prescriptions containing facial mask prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for acne were researched from CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, CBM from January 2012 to March 2018, and the frequency of each prescription, four nature of drugs, five flavors, channel tropism, classification and the association rules between drugs were extracted and analyzed by TCMISS Chinese medicine inheritance assistant platform. Results Two hundred and fifty-one Chinese herbal prescriptions were collected. The high frequency herbs were Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Angelicae Dahuricae, Radix Scutellariae, Flos Lonicerae, Cortex Phellodendri, Fructus Forsythiae, Herba Taraxaci, Rhizoma Coptidis, Flos Chrysanthemi Indici, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, and so on. The key drug combinations were “Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, Angelicae Dahuricae”, “Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae”, “Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, Radix Scutellariae”. The distribution of four nature of drugs was mainly cold, cool, warm, calm; the distribution of five flavors was mainly bitter, pungent, sweet, tasteless; the distribution of the channel tropism was mainly liver, stomach, heart, lung, spleen channel. Conclusion The facial mask prescription for external use of acne takes “clearing heat and activating blood” as the main treatment method, and the core drug is mainly for clearing heat; prescription drugs maimly take “clearing heat and removing toxicity, promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis” as principle.
