Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of comfort care model in the postoperative conscious patients with tracheal intubation in ICU. Methods From June 2015 to July 2016, 264 cases of conscious patients with tracheal intubation after Level four surgery in Aerospace Center Hospital were selected as research objects and divided into the control group (137 cases) and the intervention group (127 cases) based on the admission time. The control group was given routine nursing care and the intervention group was given comfort care model. The comfort level, nursing satisfaction, compliance behavier and the score of anxiety were compared between the two groups. Results Patients in the two groups had moderate degree uncomfortable (according to the scores VAS scale). The nursing satisfaction, comfort level, compliance behavior in the intervention group were higher than those of control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Before operalion, there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of anxiety in the two groups (P > 0.05). After operalion, the score of anxiety in the intervention group was lower than that of before intervention, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.05), but it was higher in the control group, with no significant difference compared with that of before intervention (P > 0.05). Conclusion Comfort care model can improve comfort level and nursing satisfaction in postoperative conscious patients with tracheal intubation in ICU, promote the compliance behavior, relieve the anxiety, assist the patients pass through the mechanical ventilation period, promote recovery. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
