Abstract:“Practical” and “clinical ability” are the characteristics of higher vocational nursing education. The “dual-qualified” teacher plays an important role in promoting the cultivation of “dual-qualified” teacher for technology applied talents. The school-running orientation and talent training goal of higher vocational nursing education determine the necessity of the requirements for the “dual-qualified” teacher. The hospital-school joint program is a school-running measure for higher vocational colleges to jointly train professional talent by schools and hospitals in order to meet the needs of current development. It is also an effective way to improve teachers′ practical ability and cultivate “dual-qualified” teacher. Strengthening the association of hospitals and universities has great significance for deepening the teaching reform of higher vocational nursing and improving the quality of nursing teaching in China.
