Abstract:Objective To study the effect of systematic nursing intervention to improve the feelling patients with laryngeal cancer. Methods From December 2013 to December 2016, 70 patients with laryngeal cancer in Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University were selected as the research object. According to random number table method, they were divided into control group (35 cases) and observation group (35 cases). The control group was treated by hospital general nursing, and the observation group was treated by systematic nursing intervention. The nursing satisfaction, scores of life quality, SAS and SDS, and self care ability after discharge were evaluated. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the scores of emotion, role function, social function, physical function, cognitive ability between the two groups (P > 0.05); after intervention, the scores in the two groups were increased, and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The patients' satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Before intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in the two groups were not statistically significant (P > 0.05); after intervention, the scores in the two groups were decreased, and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The self care ability after discharge of the control group was lower than that of the observation group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Systematic nursing intervention model can improve quality of life, unhealthy emotions and self-care ability after discharge of patients with laryngeal cancer.
