Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of uterine netlike compression suture combined with tranexamic acid on the clinical efficacy and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) imaging performance of refractory postpartum hemorrhage Methods A total of 90 patients with refractory postpartum hemorrhage from December 2015 to December 2017 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. In the control group, uterine anterior and posterior wall sutures was used for the treatment, the observation group was combined with tranexamic acid on the basis of the control group. The hemostasis, postoperative physical signs, hospitalization and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. DSA was used to check the postoperative bleeding on the 3rd day after operation. Results Compared with control group, the observation group with less total amount of bleeding, shorter time to stop bleeding, and lower rate of hysterectomy, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.01). There was no statistically significant difference in systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and heart rate between the two groups after surgery (P > 0.05). The volume of postoperative fluid input, volume of blood transfusion were less than the control group, getting out-of-bed time and hospitalization time were shorter than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.01). DSA examination results in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group, the post-treatment bleeding rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.01). There was no statistically significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The uterine anterior and posterior wall sutures combined with tranexamic acid have a better clinical effect on refractory postpartum hemorrhage, and the DSA examination results show that the combination therapy has a lower postoperative bleeding rate.
