Abstract：The Party′s 19th congress report puts forward that "socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era". In the new era, in order to implement the healthy China strategy, promote the development of medical science and technology innovation, safeguard people's health, build a well-off society in an all-round way and realize socialist modernization, high-level medical professionals are the key point. In the cultivation process of high-level medical talents, party building and ideological and political education, which is throughout the overall process of talent training, has got extremely important and irreplaceable role. Therefore, it is of great significance and practical significance to strengthen the party building and ideological and political work of high-level personnel talents. Based on the research on the situations of the party building and ideological and political work for high-level medical talents in colleges and universities, this paper combs the common problems and shortcomings in the cultivation and management of high-level medical talents, carries out objective analysis, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.
