Abstract:Objective To explore clinical effects of Guishao Zuogui Yin in treating vulvar dystrophy with syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney and the influence on immune function. Methods According to the random number table, 104 cases of patients with vulvar dystrophy with syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2014 to January 2017 were selected, and they were divided into treatment group and control group, with 52 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional treatment, while the treatment group was treated with conventional medicine combined with Guishao Zuogui Yin. The two groups were treated for 1 month. The clinical curative effect was evaluated after treatment. The TCM symptom scores, vulvar skin pigment loss scores, CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+ of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. The adverse reactions of the two groups during the treatment were recorded and compared. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 96.15% (50/52), which of control group was 69.23% (36/52), the difference was statistically significant (χ2=13.168, P < 0.01). After treatment, the TCM symptom scores, vulvar skin pigment loss scores, CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.01), the CD8+ of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.01). There were no serious adverse reactions of the two groups during treatment. Conclusion Guishao Zuogui Yin in the treatment of vulvar dystrophy with syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney has a good efficacy and few adverse reactions, which can reduce the clinical symptoms, improve the immune function, and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
