The introduction of professor Yang Hua′s academic thought and experience in treating spleen and stomach diseases

Abstract：This paper introduces the academic thought and experience of professor Yang Hua in treating the spleen and stomach disease. It proposes that "the spleen and stomach are the pivot of the qi functional movements in body and curing disease shall comply with the nature of qi's ascending and descending", "the spleen and stomach shall be cured separately and the qi and blood shall be regulated simultaneously", "the representation of symptom on the upper and lower body shall be cured from the middle body" and "the discrimination and differentiation of disease shall be combined". The clinical experiences such as "the principal syndrome shall be grasped and the pathogenesis shall be discriminated", "the physical health shall be discriminated, different measures shall be adopted to different persons" and "the treatment rules shall be clear, as well as the prescription shall be selected, and the therapy shall be based on the classical theory" have been summarized.
