Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of playful nursing intervention on the improvement of polysomnography in pre-school children with obesity. Methods From June 2016 to October 2017, in Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities, 100 pre-school children with obesity received overnight sleep breathing monitoring were selected, according to random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine sleep monitoring and nursing, while the observation group was added the child-care intervention on the basis of the control group. And then, the degree of anxiety, success rate of sleep monitoring and satisfaction of family members before the intervention and during sleep monitoring were evaluated. Results There was no statistically significant difference in anxiety scores between the two groups one day before monitoring (P > 0.05). The anxiety scores in two groups were significantly higher than those before monitoring, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.01), and that of the control group was higher than study group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). The success rate of sleep monitoring in the study group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The satisfaction degree of the family members in the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). Conclusion The implementation of playful nursing intervention in polysomnography of pre-school children with obesitycan effectively alleviate the anxiety level during sleep monitoring, improve the success rate of sleep monitoring and the satisfaction of family members, it is worth to be popularized.
