Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship between the expression of MTSS-1 and SOX2 and clinicopathological in colon cancer. Methods From January 2016 to June 2017, 80 cases colon cancer patients, who were treated in Qinhuangdao City No.1 Hospital were selected as the research object, the levels of MTSS1 and SOX2 expression were tested by two step immunohistochemical method, and the clinical and pathological features of MTSS1 and SOX2 expression correlation were analyzed. Results The positive expressions of MTSS1 and SOX2 protein in colon cancer tissues were significantly lower than the adjacent contiguous zone, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.01). The positive expressions of MTSS1 and SOX2 were significant difference between the deposit rate of different degree of differentiation, lymph node metastasis and Dukes staging of cancer tissue, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.01). The degree of differentiation was the risk factor of MTSS1 positive expression (P < 0.05). The degree of differentiation and lymph node metastasis were risk factors of positive expression of SOX2 (P < 0.05). Conclusion The expression of MTSS1 and SOX2 in colon cancer tissues is closely related to the degree of differentiation, and the lymph node metastasis is significantly related to the expression of SOX2.
