Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of warning safety signs to patients in department of emergency. Methods A total of 194 department of emergency patients in the emergency room of Hai’an People’s Hospital in Jiangsu Province were selected from December 2016 to July 2017, and 101 patients admitted from December 2016 to March 2017 were randomly selected as the control group, another 93 patients admitted from April to July 2017 were randomly selected as the observation group. The patients in the control group were given regular aspiration prevention publicity and education, while the patients in the observation group implemented the aspiration care plan with warning safety signs on the basis of the control group. The incidence of aspiration, the incidence of adverse reactions and the satisfaction of patients and their families were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of aspiration in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Warning safety nursing intervention can effectively reduce the occurrence of aspiration in emergency observation patients, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, and improve nursing satisfaction.
