Abstract:Objective To study clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture in the treatment of postoperative gastroparesis syndrome. Methods Eighty patients with clinically diagnosed gastroparesis syndrome after abdominal surgery from January 2015 to December 2017 in Xinjiang Medical University Affiliated Tumor Hospital were selected. The patients were divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table, with 40 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with fasting, effective continuous gastrointestinal decompression, water, electrolyte and acid-base balance, and enteral nutrition treatment through enteral nutrition tube. Control group was given gastrointestinal motility drugs. According to the patient′s specific syndrome type, treatment group was given the corresponding Chinese medicine decoction and stomach tube injection combined with acupuncture treatment. Results The flow of gastric juice in treatment group was more than that in control group, and the recovery time of self feeding, the first defecation time and the treatment time in treatment group were shorter than those in control group (P < 0.05). The effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture is an effective method for the treatment of postoperative gastroparesis syndrome, which can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and shorten the course of treatment.
