Effect of Tacrolimus Ointment combined with Compound Muniziqi Granules in the treatment of facial hormone dependent dermatitis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the efficacy of Tacrolimus Ointment combined with Compound Muniziqi Granules in the treatment of facial hormone dependent dermatitis (FHDD). Methods Eighty patients with FHDD admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from March 2018 to December 2019 were selected and divided into control group (n = 40, Tacrolimus Ointment) and study group (n = 40, Tacrolimus Ointment combined with Compound Maniziqi Granules) according to the random number table method. Clinical efficacy, symptom score, skin lesions, immunoglobulin E (IgE), eosinophil count, adverse reactions and recurrence rate were compared between two groups. Results Total clinical effective rate of study group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the scores of pruritus, telangiectasia, skin atrophy, swelling, flushing and acne like lesions in two groups were lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), and the scores in study group were lower than those in control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, IgE and eosinophil count in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the lesion area was smaller than that before treatment (P < 0.05), and IgE and eosinophil count in study group were lower than those in control group, and the lesion area was smaller than that in control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups (P > 0.05). The recurrence rate of study group was lower than that of control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Tacrolimus Ointment combined with Compound Muniziqi Granules in the treatment of FHDD can effectively improve clinical symptoms of patients, improve the immune function, with good safety and definite effect.
