Abstract:Objective To analyze clinical effect of Tuoli Xiaodu Decoction combined with Xiangpi Shengji Ointment in the treatment of chronic skin ulcer. Methods One hundred and eight patients with chronic skin ulcer treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hu′nan University of Chinese Medicine from June 2015 to December 2018 were selected and divided into control group and treatment group by random number table method, with 54 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with Xiangpi Shengji Ointment, while treatment group was treated with Tuoli Xiaodu Decoction. Clinical efficacy, cytokine indexes (interleukin 6 [IL-6], tumor necrosis factor-α [TNF-α], vascular endothelial growth factor [VEGF]), ulcer healing indexes and adverse reactions of two groups were observed and compared. Results Total effective rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the level of VEGF in two groups was higher than that before treatment, the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in treatment group were lower than those in control group, and VEGF level in treatment group was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The healing time, myogenic time and putrid purification time in treatment group were significantly shorter than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups. Conclusion Tuoli Xiaodu Decoction combined with Xiangpi Shengji Ointment has significant effect in treating chronic skin ulcer, which can promote wound healing faster, reduce the level of inflammatory factors, and it is safe and reliable.
