Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction combined with Clopidogrel in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 183 patients with acute ischemic stroke admitted to Ankang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2016 to March 2019 were divided into control group (91 cases Clopidogrel) and research group (92 cases, Banxi Baizhu Tianma Decoction combined with Clopidogrel) according to the random number table method. The clinical efficacy, national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS), modified Barthel index (mBI) and serum related indicators were compared between the two groups, and adverse reactions were recorded. Results After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS, soluble P-selectin and matrix metalloproteinase-9 decreased in both groups, and the study group was lower than the control group. mBI score, vascular endothelial growth factor and brain-derived neuronutrition increased in both groups, and the study group was higher than the control group (P ＜ 0.05). There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Conventional Clopidogrel combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke can effectively improve the daily activities of patients, alleviate the degree of neurological impairment, improve the level of relevant serum indicators, and do not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.
