Abstract：Since the media is an independent body that distinguishes it from new and old media, it is an emerging medium of the times. With the support of this kind of media, the ideological and political education work in colleges and universities has carried out research and discussion related to it. For the ideological and political education workers in colleges and universities, opportunities and challenges coexist. Affected by multiple factors, current Chinese medicine education has more or less the phenomenon of weakening or reducing traditional Chinese medicine culture. Schools attach importance to professional knowledge education and despise humanistic quality education, thus alienating traditional culture. Educators in Chinese medicine colleges should strengthen the value of traditional Chinese medicine in talent education, and carry out the core values of Chinese medicine throughout the teaching process. With the comprehensive information from the media, the students can reach a consensus with unique Chinese medicine value. The connection and combination of self-media and talent education in Chinese medicine colleges will become an important direction for the cultivation of future education talents.
