Abstract:Calorie restriction has a significant role in delaying aging, anti-cancer, and treating chronic metabolic diseases such as diabetes. Currently, there is no uniform standard scheme for calorie restriction programs, which is obviously controversial. The length of time, the composition of food, the feeding time and the type of animal may affect the results of the experiment. This paper reviews the relevant influence factors in the process of calorie restriction.
