Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of feedback and intensive health education pathway in patients with total knee arthroplasty. Methods From September 2016 to August 2017, 140 patients with total knee arthroplasty in the Bone and Joint Surgery Department of Beijing Luhe Hospital were selected as the research subjects and divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table, with 70 cases in each group. The control group was given traditional indoctrination education and the observation group was given feedback and intensive health education. The education effect before and after admission, pre-operation, post-operation and 2 weeks after discharge were compared between the two groups. The compliance and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the effect of education between the two groups before admission (P > 0.05). After admission, pre-operation, post-operation and 2 weeks after discharge, the education effects in the observation group were better than those of control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The compliance and the nursing satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those of control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion The effect of feedback and intensive health education in patients with total knee arthroplasty is good. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
