Clinical effect of Yupingfeng Powder combined with BCG polysaccharide nucleic acid for treatment of chronic urticaria

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Yupingfeng Powder combined with BCG polysaccharide nucleic acid for treatment of chronic urticaria. Methods From January 2016 to December 2017 in Hubei Provincial Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, 80 patients with chronic urticaria were selected. They were divided into control group and treatment group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with BCG polysaccharide nucleic acid injection, the treatment group was treated with Yupingfeng Powder combined with BCG polysaccharide nucleic acid injection, two groups were treated for 12 weeks cowtinuously. The UAS scores, DLQI scores, serum IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4 and IL-10 in the two groups before and after treatment were compared. The clinical efficacy and the adverse reaction rate of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the UAS scores, DLQI scores, levels of serum IL-4, IL-10 in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, the levels of serum IFN-γ, IL-2 in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the UAS scores, DLQI scores, levels of serum IL-4, IL-10 in the treatment group were obviously higher than those in the control group, the levels of serum IFN-γ, IL-2 in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no significantly difference in the adverse reaction rate between the two groups during treatment (P > 0.05). Conclusion Yupingfeng Powder combined with BCG polysaccharide nucleic acid injection for treatment of chronic urticaria has a good efficacy and few adverse reactions, which can relieve clinical symptoms, improve life quality and the levels of serumIFN-γ, IL-2, reduce the levels of serum IL-4, IL-10, and it is worthy clinical application.
