Methods From September to October 2017, 160 undergraduate nurses from our hospital were surveyed using career plateau scale prepared by Xie Baoguo. Results A total of 151 valid questionnaires were recovered, the effective recovery rate was 94.3%. For the undergraduate nurses in our hospital, the total score of occupational altitude was (3.52±0.67) scores, the level plateau dimension score was (3.65±0.84) scores, the plateau dimension score was (2.99±0.92) scores, and the central plateau dimension score was (3.97±0.87) scores. The multiple linear regression analysis results showed that technical title was the significant influencing factor in all dimensions of occupational plateau (all P < 0.01), while age and employment attributes were the influencing factors in the dimensionality of plateau (all P < 0.05). Conclusion The undergraduate nurses in our hospital are in the risk of plateau state, with the highest score in central plateau dimension, the lowest score in content plateau dimension. Organizations and individuals should take full account of the influencing factors, especially for job title, age, employment characteristics, in the intervention of occupational plateau among nurses.
