Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of the number of in vitro fertilized embryos and the ratio of fragments on blastocyst formation. Methods From January to October 2016, 200 patients who underwent in vitro fertilization in Liuzhou Worker′s Hospital were given embryos 3 days after completion of fertilization, grouping of embryos according to the number of blastocysts, they were divided into 2-3c group (2-3 cells), 4c group (4 cells), 5c group (5 cells), 6c group (6 cells), 7c group (7 cells), 8c group (8 cells), 9c group (9 cells), 10c group (10 cells), 11c group (11 cells), 12c group (12 cells), more than 13c group (more than 13 cells). Grading operations on fragments. The effect of cell number and fragmentation level (the fragmentation rate of grade 1 is less than 5%; the fragmentation rate of grade 2 is >5%-20%; the fragmentation rate of stage 3 is >20%-30%; and the fragmentation rate of grade 4 is higher than 30%.) on the quality of blastocysts during embryo transfer was analyzed. Results The effective blastocyst formation rate and the high quality blastocyst formation rate in 8c group were the highest, in the 1-2 grade fragment level of the blastula and the 3-4 fragment level of the blastula(χ2=200.760, 119.162, 243.532, 136.395, all P < 0.01). Conclusion In in vitro fertilization embryo transfer, the level of grade 1-2 and grade 3-4 is all 8c group, and the quality of blastocyst is the best. This result has a reference value for guiding the selection of high-quality embryos.
